El 12 de octubre de 2024 realizamos en Ayacucho el concierto “Canto y música de las Hijas de la Madre Tierra”, un encuentro de música indígena que reunió a destacadas cantantes indígenas en el marco de la Jornada de Cultura Viva “Yachayninchik: Nuestros saberes para la vida”. Participaron Sylvia Falcón Rojas, Anahí Rayen Mariluan, Yessica Sánchez Comanti, Danitza Roca Guizado y Olinda Torres Ramos, herederas de tradiciones musicales de los pueblos Mapuche (Wallmapu), Quechua y Asháninka. Como invitado especial participó Fredy Ortiz, vocalista de Uchpa, agrupación que fusiona rock y blues en quechua. Este concierto en Ayacucho reafirma la vigencia de la música indígena contemporánea, el liderazgo de las mujeres indígenas en la transmisión cultural y el diálogo entre saberes ancestrales y nuevas expresiones artísticas en los Andes y la Amazonía.</text>

Durante cuatro días, lideresas de varias generaciones debatieron desafíos vinculados a violencia, justicia, salud, economías, clima y participación política. El evento culminó con la Declaración Política del ECMIA, que exhorta a los Estados y organismos internacionales a cumplir los principales marcos normativos sobre derechos indígenas con mecanismos y presupuestos efectivos.
